FV Hospital offer a wide range of orthopaedic surgery procedures in Vietnam. They provide emergency services, treatment for osteoarthritis and arthritis, and arthroscopy. They also specialise in knee replacement, hip replacement and sport medicine procedures.
Over the past few years, Vietnam has become a new destination for tourists seeking a unique cultural experience, with the country’s untouched beaches, beautiful landscapes, and booming cities. Sensing a need to cater to the growing number of upper and middle class patients in Vietnam, a large group of French doctors decided to set up FV Hospital, a luxury, modern hospital in bustling Ho Chi Minh City.
The FVH Department of Orthopaedics & Hand Surgery is a modern, well-equipped department with a team of full-time surgeons and on-duty doctors available after hours, 7 days a week. Three different surgery disciplines are performed within the department: lower limb surgery; spine surgery and hand surgery (which includes the entire upper limb from the hand to the shoulder).
The operating theatres at FVH comply with international standards, as do the strict sterilisation procedures, to minimise infectious complications. The department works closely with the Physiotherapy Department, to aid patient recovery from any related orthopaedic surgery. At FV Hospital, patients are informed of their condition and the type of treatment required and the progress, each step of the way, depending on the nature of the disease, injury or disorder. Patients are encouraged to ask questions of their doctor, at any time, should they require further insight.
