I must take umbrage with such remarks i just return from helping a patient through my firm Health Check Costa Rica receive an emergency surgery that her insurance company decided at the last minute they would not cover. Bottom line; Without the aid of Medical Tourism this patient would not have been able to have this surgery. Considering the universal positive experiences I have encountered and helped provide for patients and the steady maturation of standards, practices and oversight, I think Medical travel as a whole cannot be maligned as much as individual practitioners and institutions, exactly the situstion one can find intrinsi to any country.
