Matilda International Hospital started simulating a hotel-type stay for its maternity department to help new mothers and their families fully enjoy the whole birthing experience and the early days of taking care of infants without fear and trepidation.
This relaxed and positive approach to hospital care proved to be so successful with patients that it was expanded to the other areas of the hospital.
