The MTA is working on providing transparency for provider outcomes and quality of care on a global level. Some international hospitals have agreed to work with the MTA on transparency and uniformity in the reporting of quality indicators, methodology and outcomes. The MTA is also working with large US insurance companies who are trying to learn how to implement medical travel into their healthcare plans.
The MTA has two executive officers, and an 18 strong advisory board with representatives from hospitals, an accreditation agency, consultants and lawyers, across Asia and The Americas.
